The Smart Meter TS electric energy meter is needed to transmit to the Fronius monitoring system more accurate information about the energy generated in the network, because the normal inverter indicators do not take into account the energy losses in the network and the object’s own consumption, so in ordinary inverters there is a discrepancy between the indicators of the monitoring system and electricity meter, which is used for mutual settlement with the state. Also, these meters are used to build systems for own consumption.
In the updated counters of the TS version, you can see easier installation, convenient menu navigation, touch display, and also 25% less space required for its installation.
Fronius Smart Meter TS is a bidirectional meter that optimizes consumption, builds load graphs and monitors energy flows in the system. Thanks to high-precision measurements and fast communication via the Modbus RTU interface, it is perfectly suited for dynamic regulation of the output power in photovoltaic systems for self-consumption zero feed-in.
Together with Fronius Solar.web, Smart Meter TS presents a clear overview of energy consumption. In combination with solutions for energy storage, the device ensures the coordination of various energy flows, which optimizes the entire energy management of the photovoltaic system.
The Fronius Smart Meter TS is ideal for use with the GEN24 Plus and Tauro and is also compatible with all Fronius inverters prior to Fronius Datamanager 2.0.
